Incorporated in the state of Tennessee as a private company in 1975, Lamination Service, Inc DBA LSI has been on the cutting edge of ID/Access card personalization for over two decades. Located in Memphis, TN, LSI initially began it’s tenure in the photo ID arena over 40 years ago while searching for ways to expand its core business of lamination and print finishing services.

At that time, all badges were produced via lamination, and LSI fit naturally into this market. In the early ’90s, LSI programmed its first version of BMS (Badge Management System) software as a database management tool for the traditional, Polaroid cut-and-paste badge systems being sold. As technology and our market evolved, so to did the programming, applications, and functionality of BMS.

Currently, BMS is considered an industry leader for high-end, customizable photo-ID card software, and is being used by a wide range of organizations throughout the nation ranging from The New Jersey State Police and The University of Florida to the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System and The Senate and House of Representatives of the United States.

LSI is one of a few dealers in North America who develop, market and sell our own software. We are not merely buying and reselling a significant brand of software. We have invested in a dedicated staff of software programmers and system engineers to ensure each project is customized and tailored to fit each client’s unique needs. This investment allows LSI and our BMS software to meet or exceed almost any client specification presented while offering a level of service and support second to none in our industry.

Over the past two decades, LSI has solidified our position in the card personalization software market and has also become a significant player in the ID/Access card hardware, hardware support, supplies, and accessories markets. We currently have a dedicated staff of 14 individuals in our ID/Access card division, which includes sales, marketing, software programming, system integration teams, and hardware service/support.
